"The Business of Izness" is an expression in Quantum Physics. When I first read about it, I laughed, because it sounded funny. But when it was explained to me, it became a profound truth in my Life:
"The Business of Izness" - What does it mean? How do you interact with it and How do you accept it?
The Universal Flow goes right through you, like a train who wants to take you on a ride, just flow with it! Set your intention, but give up the control, the universe might have something different in mind for you!
Now go ahead and enjoy Life! "The Business of Izness" is absolute perfection. Wherever you are, a million things had to happen to bring you there, and a trillion of things had to occur to make this particular moment happen. It is a state of mind, or a moment in time that is exactly how it is suppose to be, otherwise you wouldn't experience it!
Now realize, in order to "change" this moment, all you have to do, is change your thoughts, and a million of things have to happen before you can "see the results", but with your thoughts active and your intention focused, you set everything in motion!
The other day I won over 20 Paper Towels at a Sweepstakes at our local grocery store and I have to admit, I felt pretty guilty. I was excited about winning something, but then I felt really bad using these paper towels, even though they are so incredibly convenient. I am a big supporter of the Environment, and our Rainforests are not benefitting if we use Paper Towels every single day. I put about 5 dish towels next to my sink and every time I feel like touching those Paper Towels, I ask myself: "Is this really necessary?" and then I pause for a moment and make a conscious decision. I think this is pretty much what we all can do, "make conscious decisions". As long as we really think about what we do on a daily basis, we make better choices.
I am sure when you see a skunk you run, especially when you have a dog like I do. But yesterday that wasn't the case. I drove to a local park to walk my dog, and I kept seeing an adult skunk crossing the street back and forth; cars kept driving by and I was worried, he/she will get hit by a car, so I drove back to see why a skunk would cross the street so intensely. Well, her two babies were hit by a reckless driver and they were laying in the middle of the street. I figured, she would want to be close to her babies and that's why she was moving back and forth. So I went and picked up the remains of those tiny little babies and put them under a tree. Mommy Skunk came running and she was beside herself. I was so super sad about this incident and I asked myself "Why in the world would someone hit two baby skunks?" It wasn't even a busy street, and it was lit up, you were able to see even a mouse crossing. I wish people would be more compassionate towards wild animals and understand their predicament in our busy world; crossing from one side of the street to the other.
This morning I woke up, and I get an email from Greenpeace asking for my support to protect the Rainforest! And I am thinking: "What? How can I help? What can I do besides donating some money?" Then I had another thought....why is this even happening in the first place? Who are these people that just go into the Amazon bull doze over these beautiful trees, hurt animals in the process, take away their home and destroy their environment? Are these people so different from me? What drove them to do this? Do they have a heart? What do they think when they make all these amazing animals run and find refuge? I can't imagine sitting in one of those Bull dozers and destroying THE RAINFOREST!!!! I understand that maybe the natives are in desperate need to make some money, but isn't there another way? Why can't we all come together and start protecting our planet? After all, we all live here!
Solar Panels on Houses, Farms and Businesses are much more prevalent in Germany than they are here in America. On my last visit to Germany I was impressed with the environmental politics and the concern about the environment from citizens. Recycling is an every day procedure in every single German home. Plastic, Glass, Paper, Aluminum and Food scraps are sorted out in every single Household. Sometimes when I look in our communities and see the garbage cans filled with paper cups and plastic bottles, I ask myself: WHY? Why is there not a better policy to take care of the environment and WHEN is someone going to make an effort to develop a policy to change a wasteful society into a caring society? We all need to get better at conserving resources. Let's start today!
If you are like me, you love Wildlife as much as your dog or your cat. I have squirrels and chipmunks visiting me every day. I observe them daily and learn so much from their behavior. I look very closely when they eat, I find it fascinating to observe them. Today I went to a very nice park to walk my dog, and I saw how a squirrel just became the victim of a driver that didn't care. It made me super sad, and of course I turned around and carried the squirrel off the road and into the grass, but it was too late, it had already died. Sometimes I wonder who these people are, that just hit a small animal like a squirrel and drive off? Where do they drive to? To dinner, a club, a meeting, or whatever it might be? How do they deal with this? I would be in tears the entire evening. Luckily it never happened to me before, I always drive extra careful! Please be careful when you drive and keep your eyes on the road! Slow down and show some love towards our Wildlife!
